Announcement: 2nd diet membership certification and 2019/20 induction schedule
The governing board of the West Africa Association of Customer Service Professionals is pleased to announce the program of events to end the service year 2020 and the inaugural induction of members from the 2019/2020 session.
The schedule starts with the 2nd diet 2020 Professional certification program in October culminating with the 2019/2020 combined members induction ceremony in January 2021.
The certification program as it was with the 1st diet in June will hold ONLINE with only Ghana and Nigeria approved to conduct the exercise. Nigeria will host prospective service professionals between October 22nd - 24th, while Ghana edition will hold 29th -31st October, 2020.

WAACSP alongside it training partners have improved upon the online training delivery and will introduce added features to improve online learning experience thereby aggregating professionals output at the end of the program. The three (3) new features added to this diet include;
1- Introduction of pre training 5 module tests with a view to synthesize same module post training to evaluate participants pre to post program sequence.
2- Introduction of full faculty of WAACSP accredited examiners saddled with assessing participant independent of facilitators thereby eliminating biased overall certification assessment and compilation.
3- Deploying of the 3 R’s in post certification arbitration. Review, Resit and or Re-certify. This opens a window for resolution of results should there be need.
INDUCTION
The board has tentatively fixed January 23, 2021 as date for the 2019/2020 combined induction ceremony, the pandemic and attendant congregating restrictions have seen the 2019 cohorts being unable to have their formal induction, as a result, it will be a combined with all certified members of the two diets of 2020.
Overall, over 200 certified CS professionals will be inducted.
Details and timeline for the induction will be released in due course. The induction will also include other categories of WAACSP membership; professional members and fellows of the association.
