The journey to becoming a top rated certified CX professional in West Africa and with it comes a membership of West Africa Association of customer service professionals starts here. The body through her training partners offers training leading to the award of Basic/Advanced Certificate in Customer Service Skills.

All training online/offline are approved by the board and both are same modules.

There will be 3 membership options to join the West Africa Association of Customer Service Professionals

1 - Certified Membership

Open to persons who have undertaken and completed the WAACSP training and certification process with our training affiliates and have been awarded/obtained the WAACSP Basic Certification in Customer Service Skills.

Minimum academic qualification should be academic diploma from an institution of higher learning.

Requirements

- Minimum academic qualification is a diploma from an institution of higher learning.
- Initial certification cost of $25 is charged excluding the training fee by the training affiliate.
- Subsequent annual renewal fee of $20.

2 - Professional Membership

Open to persons who are currently working in a customer service/interfacing role and already have a customer service training certificate from a recognized CS institute in country of membership.

- A training/workshop update certificate not later than 24months from month of application for membership.
- Minimum academic qualification of Bachelor’s degree from institution of higher learning.

Membership Fee: $60 initial membership fee with an annual renewal fee of $25.

Application Procedure

- Applications are processed by WAACSP partner training organization from applicant's country of residence.

3 - Fellow WAACSP

Fellowship of the West Africa Association of Customer Service professionals [waacsp] is the association’s highest level of membership and is bestowed on service professionals who have distinguished themselves and contributed to the development of the industry, workplace, customer experience and community.
The association accesses applicants suitability for this level of member and thereafter approves/rejects such application.
For emphasis, here’s a view of criteria for applications:

- Minimum of 8 years with proven track record in customer service
- Minimum of 5 years in management/supervisory
- Have been in forefront of CS culture/policy formulation in place of employ.
- Proven Customer Service resource/training personnel with published/unpublished work(s) shaping the direction of customer experience in his/her community or circle of influence.
- Have not been convicted of any criminal offense especially from all places of employ. If you have been involved in any case; concluded, ongoing or discharged please state details.
Prospective fellow should have two guarantors (with their contact details) included in his/her application documentation

Membership Fee: $150 One off fee and not a renewable category.
