International studies assistance for members of WAACSP
As summer beckons, studies abroad by Africans in Europe, Asia, Americas and Australia are a common feature for degree and post graduate academic pursuits partial and fully funded scholarships, programs alike.
The WAACSP as a body are mindful of these; in fact, in 2021, the association received enquiries on members from universities and recruiting organizations abroad seeking clarification on membership status, results of programs undertaken and certifications from WAACSP for members of the association. This trend already started this session.
The association is now establishing an opening to help members with the following as they pursue career and academic growth in the continent and beyond.
To this end, WAACSP is assisting members at a nominal fee in the following areas:
Professional reference:
A professional reference is a well-written letter endorsing a candidate's qualifications for an internship, job, college, graduate school, or other employment, experiential, or educational opportunity. This will be provided by WAACSP in the body’s letter head and seal.
Statement of purpose (SOP):
A statement of purpose (SOP) tells admissions committees who you are, what your academic and professional objectives are, and how you will contribute value to the graduate program you are applying to.
Scholarship essay:
The scholarship essay is your opportunity to present your case and convince the committee that you deserve to win. It allows you to express your personality and your greatest accomplishments in life.
Chevening essay:
Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarships programme. Successful Chevening candidates come from a diverse range of countries and backgrounds, but they all demonstrate the passion, vision and skills needed to shape a better world.
Outside the academic field, the team will also offer customer service themed resume for certified and professional members of the association.
