The fireside chat series, a hangout session were senior service professionals within and outside of Waacsp share their CS career journey with a view to helping upstarts, young and aspiring customer service persons map, chart and grow a career in customer service comes up next month.
The July series will have the WAACSP board chairperson Yvonne Ohui MacCarthy make a repeat appearance. Owing from the plethora of calls from members who missed her feature in April to come back on the hotseat, the association duly obliged and added another channel and incentive to this special edition.
This session will hold via two channels and with a career positioning reward and other gift items to attendees. The July fireside chat will hold thus:

Yvonne will be discussing a career in Customer Service, WAACSP & You!. It promises to be an informative and educative two channel session.
During the program, the association will give:

2- certified membership of Waacsp slot for 3 upstarts in customer service* (T&C apply) View profile of a certified member on the WAACSP Website.
3- 6 copies of ‘A Handbook of customer service quotes’ by Waacsp fellow Ifeoma Tete Mbuk.
In all, total of 10 winners for the event.
It promises to be a weekend to enlighten oneself about the various career options/openings in CS and how WAACSP helps accentuates these in West Africa.

-To be eligible for any of the prize/gift, you must be registered for the program.
-To qualify for prize 1, you must be a practicing customer service officer with no less than 4 years work experience and your place of employ must verify you as a staff and work in a customer facing role.
-for prize 2, you must have been in a customer service job/role for no less than 2 years with a training certificate (internal in your place of employment or external) and verifiable place of employment.
