Becoming a member of WAACSP has been one of the most defining and rewarding decisions of my professional journey. It all began with the Basic Certification in Customer Service, which I passed beautifully. That first step didn’t just give me a certificate — it awakened a passion for service, excellence, and human connection. I knew then that this was the path I wanted to keep walking. Fueled by that desire to grow, I enrolled in the WAACSP Trainers Network(WTN). But the first time, I didn’t pass. It hurt, but giving up wasn’t an option. There was something about WAACSP that made me stay. The learning environment was different — the facilitators didn’t just teach; they connected. They didn’t look at your level or background; they walked with you, treated you like a friend, and made sure you felt seen and supported. So I stayed back, kept learning, and growing. When I finally earned my Trainers Network certification, it wasn’t just a certificate — it was a victory. A reminder that resilience and the right environment can bring out the best in you. I didn’t stop there. I went on to pursue the Advanced Certification in Customer Experience and Relationship Management (ACCERM), deepening my expertise. Today, I’m proud to stand as a Certified Trainer under WAACSP. This journey is proof that growth, perseverance, and the right community can transform your story.
This is more like an appreciation post than a commentary..For someone who has worked in hospitality industry for close to four years, I used to think that I have known all it takes to be customer service friendly/oriented but this program was an eye opener for me to learn basic customer service related skills that we tend to overlook and apply them in my daily interactions with not only clients but my colleagues at my workplace. The facilitators were friendly and very well informed about top notch customer service skills, the materials are also easy to access and understand. I appreciate the WASSCP and every other person involved in this program for this opportunity. Overall, I can say it was a money well spent and I was certified btw!😊
I would summarize my experience as Excellent. The class was very insightful and our Tutors were the best, the class was very interactive that i forgot it's online. The class helped my thinking, how to handle clients and taught me to be happy always, that way, i extend same happy energy to customers which will in turn convert to sales, make customers have trust in me and my product which brings more referral. A happy customer will be happy to refer you someone else. The class has helped me control my temper as i no longer respond to irate customers in the same energy or totally ignoring their complaint. Thank you WAASCP. I really enjoyed this program.
It all happened after receiving a mail about Customer service program. Though I am new in the field, I thought it would be a wise decision to go for it. With the 75-point requirement for getting the certificate, I took it up as a challenge to go for it. The program is an eye opener for me as being a customer service representative is demanding and most importantly, it can also be used in our daily life activities. When I registered, I thought it'll be the usual shallow training obtainable these days So you can imagine my shock/excitement on how indepth the classroom sessions were The intentionality in the entire curriculum and the intensity of the whole exercise. Safe to say, I was beyond impressed by the caliber of facilitators we had. I would recommend this training 10 times over, for anyone committed to learning and looking forward to self improvement. I have zero regrets!
First of all I want to say a big thank you to KRS for his aimless contribution towards the success of the Trainning and to all protocols as well . I was totally devastated when I saw my result . Despite not been notified as per when lectures has started , I was not added late to the Whatapp group , I submitted my exam assignment as instructed , I made sure all replayed videos sent by krs via Whatapp was rewatched by self in other to catch up with the class . I also took part in the role play as well , I have concrete evidences to back this up . Time , energy has been spent likewise a lot has been learnt ( despite rigorous work schedules).All I ask is a second rethought in reviewing my results . Thanks for your understanding , looking forward to a positive feedback .
It was a great and knowledge-packed experience during the programme. Our facilitators were outstanding and reachable. My understanding about the roles of a customer service representative has greatly improved, and I feel so excited and ready to apply my knowledge into my new role. WAACSP is a place to start and go to.
I recently completed the customer service representative course offered by the West Africa Association of Customer Service Professionals, and I am thrilled with the knowledge and skills I gained throughout the program. The whole aspect/topics were just great! I found it all to be just right. Today's business failure not been traced to bad products but poor service delivery. My experience based on what has been taught so far,proves there is hope for business owners and customer service agent can do more to increase profitability, Weldone to the team who deemed fit to allow us do this course without a dime.

The course I took with WAACSP was an impactful one. I learnt so many things, ranging from my approach and attitude to clients and how to handle clients. Taking the course wasn't a waste of time and resources, I got value.
After my Training session with WAACSP ,I have made a big progress in my field of work as a Provider Relationship Manager and a case Manager too. My interactions with clients/enrollees and providers on how to resolve issues on phone calls has changed.. I am now a good active Listening and I have been more professional in solving their problems with regards to accuracy and on time. I have been able to manage difficult enrollees and providers when a care is been denied or during a case Audit with a provider. I have also learnt how to use call script and also hopefully to work with My office Call Centre one day and demonstrate first hand experience as taught by WAACSP. I also understood that Attitude is the key to success and to have a good performance appraisal in an organisation. I have also try using emotional intelligence (Empathy) when interacting with enrollee/Clients when resolving an issue. After the training,I also understood that Feedback is one of the key things in resolution. The training was very impacting and comprehensive too, the training open me for a better way of reacting to customers and an additional skills to my resume.the training help me to improve my attitude, as is the most important attribute any call service centre agent could have. The training was an amazing experience for me. The facilitator was on point and delivery was topnotch. While the certification has open new opportunities for me, I see myself scaling new height.
My experience with WAACSP was an eye-opening one because there were a lot of things I thought I was doing right which turned out to be wrong. This training has made me to be on my toes and it has also helped me identify key areas in my career that need improvement. I have been involved in Online Customer Service Delivery for a little while now satisfying customers' needs via phone. However, with my encounter with this training, I can now do more in customer service across all sectors and mediums of service delivery either via shop or online. It was an interactive training session delivered online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The trainers are well seasoned and vast in customer service training with practical examples shared during the training. This program opened my eyes to better approaches to ensuring excellent customer service is served to consumers of your product and services.
