The West Africa Association of Customer Service Professionals (WAACSP) announces the OFF DIET 2026 of the ECOWAS Professional Certification in Customer Service and Virtual Assistance.

 

The Off Diet edition is the only certification organized by the association during the holiday and service-year transition period, and it carries the same academic standards, recognition, and certification value as all WAACSP diets.

THE PROGRAM

The ECOWAS Customer Service & Virtual Assistant Certification by WAACSP is the basic professional certification for:

 

Practicing customer service and virtual assistant professionals without a recognized certification

 

New entrants into the customer service and virtual assistance career space seeking formal accreditation

 

Participants from previous diets who did not meet certification requirements and are re-certifying

 

Individuals who missed the last diet and do not want to wait until the 1st Diet of the new service year in June

 

This fully online, weekend-based program equips participants with ECOWAS-recognized and internationally relevant certifications in:

• Customer Service
• Virtual Assistance
• CRM operations and systems

 

At the end of the program, successful participants will be awarded and accredited as:

1. Certified Customer Service Professional (CCSP)
2. Certified Virtual Assistant Professional (CVAP)
3. CRM Training Certificate Holder

EXPLAINING THE PROGRAM

The OFF DIET 2026 consists of two (2) professional certification programs and one (1) professional training program.

 

Participants will attend:

• The Customer Service (CS) certification program
• The Virtual Assistant (VA) certification program
• A professional Customer Relationship Management (CRM) training covering operations and systems

 

WHAT IS THE OFF DIET?

WAACSP operates a service year from February to December annually.

The Off Diet is a special certification edition organized outside the regular service-year diets, serving as a bridge between certification cycles.

 

The Off Diet is for:

Individuals who missed the previous diet and cannot wait until the next main intake

Participants required to re-certify after not meeting certification criteria

Professionals seeking certification before new service-year fees and exchange rates are released

 

Major Advantage of the Off Diet

Program fees remain the same as the previous edition, as new service-year fees and exchange rates are yet to be announced.

1. CERTIFIED CUSTOMER SERVICE PROFESSIONAL (CCSP)

Modules (5):

Fundamentals of Customer Service and Customer Experience

Psychology of Service Delivery

Managing Diverse Customer Types

Effective Use of Service Channels

Training Streams

For effective management of class, training delivery, group tasks, role play, and effective assimilation the CS program is divided into 2 streams viz: 

Stream 1: February 20 – 22, 2026

Stream 2: February 26 – 28, 2026

Participants attend one stream only.

 

Course Duration:

Total – 9 hours

 

2. CRM TRAINING CERTIFICATE

Modules (2):

Introduction to CRM Systems

Query Handling and Resolution Techniques

 

Training Dates:

March 6 – 7, 2026

Duration:

6 hours plus certification wrap-up

CRM training is included if you attend any of the certifications (CS or CVAP).

3. CERTIFIED VIRTUAL ASSISTANT PROFESSIONAL (CVAP)

Modules (6):

VA Fundamentals and Best Practices

Digital Tools (Google Workspace and productivity tools)

Virtual Assistant Niches:

Travel Management and Lead Generation

Data Management

Social Media Management

Virtual Office Administration and Data Management

 

Training Dates:

March 12 – 28, 2026

Days: Thursdays – Saturdays

 

Total Duration:

18 hours
