2025 cohort: Become a WAACSP certified CS/CX trainer - Join the WAACSP Trainers Network 2025 Cohort

The quest to IDENTIFY, TRAIN and CERTIFY professionals to becoming the next set of CS/CX trainers/coaches/instructors/consultants/mystery shoppers etc starts with the opening of the application portal.

The governing board and council of the West Africa Association of Customer Service Professionals (WAACSP) identified dearth of trained and certified customer service trainers as a major factor to low quality of CS professionals , proper training, service culture ultimately leading to overall poor service delivery across organizations, sectors and countries. Nigeria and Ghana Customer satisfaction index score of D and C+ respectively at the NCSI and GCSI indexes of 2023 attest to these low quality outputs. WAACSP aims to grow the CS trainers pool within the ECOWAS region with 500 new certified trainers before 2030.


The program:
The WAACSP Train-The-Trainers (TTT) program is a six (6) weeks online training school that will see accepted applicants undergo intensive training program with reputable and well experience faculty to impart and ingrain in participants through the rudiment of training and education interventions including analyzing, evaluation, implementation, delivery, Csat analyzing, mystery shopping, and CS consulting.

 

Sequence:
The program sequence will run thus:

  • December 5th, 2024: application portal opens.
  • February 4,2025: application window closes.  
  • February 15 & 22, 2025: interview presentation process for all applicants.
  • March 01, 2025: release of result of interviewed applicants and admittance of successful applicants to the cohort.
  • March 8 - April 12, 2025: The 6 weeks online class/training .
  • April 26 & May 3: certification examination.
  • May 25: certification result release.
  • May 31: unveil, and confirmation of licensed WAACSP certified CS/CX trainer.

End of the WTN 2025 cohort season and admittance to the WAACSP Trainers Network (WTN).

 

Eligibility:
- Program is open to all ECOWAS nationals.
- Should have a customer service/customer experience background of no less than 4 years.
- Applicants not in the CS/CX field but in HR, L&D, Administration and educational services can apply.
- Any other special dispensation may be considered.

 

The demand:
Being a customer service trainer at these times is a demanding vocation as more demand for training, and allied interventions continue to increase. If you desire to join the WAACSP trainers network be ready to be available to the tasks and demands of the vocation. Above all the demand is for passionate, dedicated and committed professionals who desires to improve learning, education and best practices to equip CSP’s across the value chain.


Program fee:
Overall program fee is $100.
(or its equivalent in each member country local currency). The fees are graduated as participant progress in the program and outline below:

  • $20: Application fee that allows interested participant obtain the cohort registration form. Upon paying the fee, you now get the application link sent to you.
  • $30: Training fee- applicants that passes the interview stage and are selected to join the Cohort’s 6 weeks online class training  will pay the training fee of $30.
  • $50: License fee; upon completion of the TTT and certification exams, participants who are successful from the certification assessment and thereby are certified will then pay a license/certification fee.

The faculty
The training team as with other years comprises of seasoned CS/L&D experts with no member of the faculty with no less than 15-20 years training. Lead trainer for the 2025 Cohort is no less a personality than renowned doyen of trainers in Africa Mr Olatunji Adeleye.

  • Trainer Certificate.
